Bendix Aviation Corporation

The Bendix Aviation Corporation, a manufacturer of aircraft parts, was started by Vincent Bendix in 1929 and renamed the Bendix Corporation in 1960.

In 1983 it was taken over by the Allied Corporation (later renamed Allied Signal) and then Bendix-King, after it was combined with the former King Radio company.

It is currently a division of Honeywell and is still a major manufacturer of avionics.
