Buhl Aircraft Company
Founded in 1925 by the Buhls (Buhl Stamping Company), the Buhl Aircraft Company produced aircraft that went on to success in the National Reliability Air Tour and the National Air Races, setting a number of endurance and speed records along the way.
In March 1927, the Buhl-Verville J4 Airster was the first aircraft to be awarded an Approved Type Certificate.
