Chad Blount was born on September 4, 1979 in Walkerton, Indiana. He droved the #34 Oak Glove Co. Chevrolet for Front Row Motorsports. He became the Rookie of the year in ARCA RE/MAX and was also a runner up point finisher in 2002.

In the NEXTEL Cup, He raced his #92 Makoto Ginger Dressing Dodge through 92 laps and qualified for the DirecTV 500 at Martinsville and finished 42nd before brake malfunctioned.

In ARCA, In his 42 career in ARCA RE/MAX he won 8 times.
