Biography
David Reutimann is a NASCAR driver from Terrell, North Carolina. Born on March 2, 1970 in Zephyrhills, Florida, Reutimann's family has a deep-rooted racing history having the legend, Emil "Buzzie" Reutimann as his father.
Reutimann had his first career victory in his No. 17 Toyota during the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. He also won two Bud Pole Awards in Bristol Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The Florida native driver received his Rookie of the Year award at the NASCAR AutoZone Elite, Southeast Series in 1997.
Reutimann completed the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series lineup for the organization in 1997. He became a full-time driver of the No. 00 Toyota Camry co-sponsored by BURGER KINGÒ Corporation and Domino’s Pizza. He made his NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series debut at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
