1. Creating New Sections & Subsections:

Placing equals signs around the title like this "==='section title goes here'===": creates a new section.
2-5 equals signs can be used producing Level One to level 4 Subsections.
Do not skip levels as the Wiki software also uses these headings to automatically generate a Table of Contents.

2 apostrophes either side of the text will ' 'italicize' ' the text.

HTML Tags may be used to modify the font, color and size. Use HTML tags inside the Wiki markup.

5. Strike:

To Strike out a text put the code <strike>before and then</strike> after the text.

6. Underline:

To Underline a text put the code <u>before and then</u> after the text.

7. Superscripts

9. Centering Text

The block quote command will indent both margins (left and right). Use
<blockquote>before the text area and</blockquote>
after the text area.

11. Invisible Comments

Insible Comments only appear when you are in editing mode. They are useful notes for other editors to read.

Use <!-- around --> your text area.

12. Bulleted Lists

Start each line with a star (asterisk) *. More stars indicate a deeper level.

  • (one asterisk)
    • (two asterisks)
      • (three asterisks)
        • (four asterisks)

13. Numbered Lists

Numbered Lists can be created by adding a # symbol at the front of the sentence.

  1. This automatically creates
  2. a numbered list

The list can be indented and moved down a level if you use more # at the start of each line.

  1. (using 1 # symbol)
    1. Or indent the list (using 2 # symbols)
    2. like this
      1. and this (using 3 # symbols)
  2. Or return to the original numbering (using 1 # symbols)
  3. Like this

14. Indenting The Line

Using colons ( : ) at the beginning of a sentence will indent the line. More colons indents the line more.

One colon does this.
Two colons here
3 colons here.

15. Dividing Lines

Using 4 dashes ---- on a line on their own will create a dividing line.

Like the one above.

16. Links

Internal Links

You can create links to pages that are existing or non-existing. The Wiki will allow you to create content for a new page if the page doesn't already exist. If it's an already existing page, then Wiki will automatically link you to it. To create a link to a page, enter [[in front and then]] behind the page name.

Piped Links

Piped links allow you to have different linked text to the name of the link. Example: [[Stock Car Speed Association|SCSA]] will give you a link that looks like this: SCSA
