Biography
Juan Pablo Montoya was born on September 20,1975 at Bogota, Colombia. He is married to wife Connie and they two children namely Sebastian and Paulina.
Montoya entered the realm of racing at the age of 9 winning several Colombian local and national titles in the Children's Kart Championship.
In 1992, He joined in the Skip Barber Course in USA with four wins in eight races and five pole positions.
Montoya was the youngest champion in the history of CART Series when he became CART Rookie of the Year in 1999 winning the series' championship that year.
In 2007, Montoya signs with Chip Ganassi Racing to race NASCAR.
