Biography

Kyle Busch is a driver from Mooresville, North Carolina. He was born on May 2,1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is the brother of driver Kurt Busch.

Busch had driving lessons at the age of 6 in a makeshift go-cart, at the cul-de-sac of the family's residence. The native of Las Vegas spent his childhood as an assitant to his father and older brother in the family garage learning to build and repair race cars. At 10, Busch became a full-fledge mechanic and worked as crew chief on his older brother's dwarf car team. He started his driving career at the age of 13 in the year 1998 and years after, he became as the youngest winner in series history.

Busch collected more than 65 wins in Legend Cars from 199-2001. At 16, He made his debut on the NASCAR's Craftsman Series at Indianapolis Raceway Park on August 3, 2001.

Busch became the youngest top rookie in the Busch Series history at the age of 19.

He collected his first series history at Richmond International Raceway on May 14,2004.

Busch won the Raybestos Rookie of the Year award for two consecutive seasons in 2005 making him the youngest winner of the award in the NEXTEL Cup program history.
