wikiMotorsport: Manual Of Style

This guideline will help users to follow certain steps, rules and standards when writing an article for wikiMotorsports.org.

Introduction

  • Each article must have an introductory paragraph that is short and precise (approximately 150 - 300 words).
  • The paragraph should cover the main theme of the key topic.

Body

  • The body of the article must be factual and related to the main topic.
  • It should NOT contain any vulgar or indecent words.
  • It should NOT contain any vulgar, indecent or pornographic images.
  • It should NOT contain any material that is not related to the topic.
  • It must be separated into appropriate sections marked with correct heading tags.
  • Any related articles found within the text should be linked to using a link tag on the key word.
  • All external sources and related topics used in creating an article shall be linked to and cited.

  • All text shall be copyright free and in your own words.
  • All images used shall be copyright free and eligible for Public Domain use
