Pickup Truck Racing

Pickup Truck racing was first started in 1997 using 230bhp racing specials with tubular frame chassis, powered by 2 litre multi-valve twin-cam engines.

The pickups are light weight (900kg) and very fast, making it necessary for the drivers to use all their skills.

The closeness of the racing is sometimes only inches apart, giving the spectators plenty of thrills.

The Pickups can be seen racing at the Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby UK, and the Truck Grand Prix at the Nurburgring Germany.
