Demolition Derby is a "physical" motorsport which sees competing drivers ram their vehicles deliberately against each other with the sole objective of becoming the "last one standing," or in this case, the last operational vehicle. These events, originally held in the United States but is starting to find its way in other western nations, usually take place in county fairs and festivals. Common vehicles used in this competition are 1960 and 1970 American made sedans and station wagons which can be readily purchased from junkyards and private owners for approximately US$500 though better conditioned vehicles may be bought for more than $1,000. However with the apparent "extinction" of these older vehicles, recent competitions have called for smaller full-sized vehicles of the 1980s and 1990s.

Stripping. Remove all including the glass. Spray down the black eurthane with WD-40 to make the window removal much easier. Soak it from inside and out as soon as you get a car. Give it a few hours and reapply. Then one person sits inside and pushes with your feet outward as the other cuts or scraps with a putty knife. Once the windshields are out you can just stomp/sledge the dash out. Unbolt the heater core. Remove all the chrome and lights on the outside.
