Sports Car racing is a form of circuit racing that uses two main categories of sports car:
Sports-prototype
- This is the next step onwards for road going supercar desgn.
Grand Touring (GT)
- These cars are built for reliability and endurance.
Both categories can be seen racing in the same race.
Famous Sports Car Races
- 24 heures du Mans
- 24 Hours of Daytona
- 12 Hours of Sebring
